We are extremely excited about the magical makeover our Terrace has received this Christmas, in partnership with Moët & Chandon. Introducing The Hari Winter Terrace…
Our guests will receive an experience like no other in London, as we serve up a bespoke sweet and/or savoury fondue for two. Adding a stylish sprinkle, the Terrace has also been decorated to reflect the winter season with faux fur rugs and cosy blankets to ensure you are fully immersed in the festive spirit.
Come and join us at our very own Winter Wonderland and indulge in our fabulous fontina cheese fondue, served with a range of sides such as home baked bread, winter vegetables and a chef’s selection of charcuterie. Or why not try our delicious Italian dark chocolate fondue with festive doughnut balls, marshmallows and a selection of seasonal fresh fruits? The Hari Bar Team will also be busy making Winter Cocoa and a host of seasonal cocktails, including traditional Eggnog, a winter twist on a traditional old-fashioned and Santa’s Midnight Tipple.

In line with our Executive Chef’s belief that all ingredients and raw materials at the heart of his creations must be Italian, we’ll be serving a number of culinary delights with regional influences, in particular from southern Italy.
Highlights of the winter menu include our Beef Carpaccio, served with Artichoke and Castelmagno – one of the most ancient Italian cheeses from the Piemonte region and “truly excellent” according to Chef, and our King Crab Salad, served with Avocado, Celery and Datterino Tomatoes. Fresh from Alaska, this exclusive type of crab can only be caught one month per year, so is always a very special and welcome addition to our À La Carte Menu.
Regional dishes include both our Porcini Mushroom offerings – the Porcini Mushroom Salad and Tagliatelle with Porcini Mushrooms – using mushrooms from Tuscany. Italians strongly believe that pear and cheese makes the best pairing, hence the well-known saying “Al Contadino Non Far Sapere Quanto è Buono Il Formaggio Con Le Pere” (“Don’t Let The Farmers Know How Good The Cheese Is With The Pears”), therefore we highly recommend the Porcini Mushroom Salad with Rocket, Pears and Parmesan Cheese.
Other regional dishes, but with our Executive Chef’s own creative twist to surprise and delight our diners, include our Risotto with Trevisan Radicchio, Barolo Wine and Buffalo Blue Cheese, and our Orecchiette Pasta with Turnip Tops, Fresh Chilli and Clams. And for something really exceptional, why not try our Black Cod, fresh from the deep Pacific Ocean and served on Black Chickpea Vellouté and Pumpkin?
Lastly, for those with a sweet tooth – be sure to try our Vegan Lemon Bomb or our rather theatrical Smoked Hazelnut Mousse. These sit alongside our staple Tiramisu dessert, our Chef’s style Pear and Chocolate Charlotte and our comforting Chestnut Profiteroles with Warm Chocolate Sauce. See the full menu here.

We are delighted to have partnered with Rachel Vosper, leading British candle chandler and home fragrance expert, to create a personalised candle and scent for The Hari.
Rachel and her team have long been regular guests of The Hari and as a local business in our community it made sense to collaborate on this project. Designed and created in her studio in Belgravia, Rachel has created a scent that is a lavish blend of graceful florals; orange blossom and Casablanca lily ignited with amber resin, smooth sandalwood and exotic nuances of ylang. A true representation of the hotel.
The Hari candles will be on display throughout the hotel and are available to buy at £30 each.

This year we are doing something truly special with our Christmas window by creating a giant advent calendar in aid of The Children’s Trust, the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury.
Thanks to our friends in the local area, we have 25 amazing gifts behind each door to auction off during the Christmas countdown.
