HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR

About the role:
Our Housekeeping Supervisors are an integral part of the department, helping to ensure a smooth operation, while monitoring standards and performance, and taking ownership and responsibility for their assigned section and staff.

As our Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Daily allocation of rooms and deep cleaning tasks to team members
  • Regularly inspecting and ensuring all guest rooms, guest floors, public areas, fire exits, stairways and service areas are maintained to the hotel’s standards
  • Checking the occupied and departure rooms, giving special attention to guest needs
  • Managing guest requests, including VIP amenities and communicating them to the relevant team members
  • Carrying out lost and found procedures
  • Reporting maintenance issues to Maintenance/Engineering Department
  • To continually check the work of Room Attendants and to provide remedial training assistance or take suitable corrective action in cases where a member of staff’s work is below the required standard.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Be a great team player, possess a positive can-do attitude, and have an eye for detail
  • Be able to prioritise and take ownership and work with minimal supervision
  • Have previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in a 4 or 5 star property
  • Have clear conversational English Language
  • Have a flexible attitude
  • Have an ability to follow specific instructions
  • Have the right to unrestricted employment in the UK.*
