Sketch on the Square


Something for the whole family. From 10 August – 1 September, The National Gallery is bringing art into the open-air with an outdoor exhibition of over 20 life-sized replicas of some of the most famous and treasured paintings in their collection.

While you admire the breath-taking pieces of art, others can join in on the ‘Sketch on The Square’ programme, offering free alfresco art activities, including the installation of 30 easels, where artists will host painting and drawing sessions.

Open House Festival 2022


Discover hidden secrets of London as you peek inside some of the most iconic buildings and unique spaces during the annual Open House festival – running from 8 – 21 September 2022.

The full guide is yet to be released, but visitors can expect to see architectural wonders from places such as: private houses, places of worship, museums, schools and offices.

London Design Festival


The London Design Festival is back for 2022, and is celebrating its 20th anniversary.

Returning to the capital from 17 – 25 September, visitors can enjoy an amazing programme of events, exhibitions and installations, where designers and creative businesses showcase their work.

Each year, the festival also presents a number of projects at the V&A; commissioning leading designers and architects to create landmark projects across the city. It’s not to be missed!

Totally Thames 2022


From large-scale installations, to fun-filled boat rides, Totally Thames is a large annual celebration of The River Thames – and the perfect destination for soaking in the last of the summer sun.

Running throughout the month of September, with activities taking place on, beneath, and along the River Thames, the whole family can join in on pop-up performances, boating events, art installations, river clean-ups and much more.

Memories To Make


Hampton Court Palace Food Festival


The perfect way to celebrate the August Bank Holiday! Head to Hampton Court Palace for their annual food festival during 27 – 29 August and expect the ultimate summer celebration in the iconic East Front Gardens.

Think street food and pop-up bars with over 100 brands and producers to delight even the most committed foodies. Soak up the atmosphere with some feel-good classics at the Bandstand and take part in family-fun, from face painting and arts & crafts, to traditional fete games and Shire Horse rides.

Notting Hill Carnival


One of the world’s biggest celebrations, Notting Hill Carnival returns to the streets of West London in 2022 for the first time since 2019. From 27 – 29 August you can watch a parade of elaborate floats and costumed performers dance to steel bands.

If you wish to take the little ones, Carnival Sunday is family day, where children dressed in costumes parade through the streets of West London, accompanied with live shows, family-friendly activities and Caribbean food stalls.

The Covent Garden Cool Down


Who doesn’t love ice-cream?

The much-loved annual ice-cream festival will return from 20 August, turning the Piazza, Market Building and surrounding streets into London’s coolest place to spend the summer holidays.

With over 40 varieties of ice cream, sundaes, sorbets and many more, it’s too difficult to say no (especially in this year’s heat wave!).

Chelsea History Festival 2022


Located just moments from our hotel doors, will be the Chelsea History Festival.

From 17 – 25 September, venues spread out in the heart of Chelsea, will bring the past to life, through an immersive programme of events, featuring a brilliant blend of storytellers and performers from all different walks of life.

With over 70 exciting physical and virtual events to explore, there is bound to be something for the whole family!

Anya Hindmarch Village


Located just next door to The Hari, is the Anya Hindmarch Village on Pont Street. This little village is made up for multiple different stores home to all sorts of wonderful and quirky projects.

At the heart of The Village is the Anya Cafe, serving delicious coffee and sweet treats. Opposite is the best-selling ‘Labelled’ collection, and next door is ‘The Plastic Shop’ – dedicated to Anya’s passion for reducing plastic going into landfill.

However, the most wonderful of all is ‘The Village Hall’ – a shop that transforms into something new every couple of months. Currently you can expect to see ‘The Ice Cream Project’ which is serving up scoops of ice-cream which celebrate favourite cult food brands – from Heinz Baked Beans to Lyle’s Golden Syrup. They’re surprisingly delicious!

The Hari Bar


A place to eat, drink and socialise, The Hari Bar is intimate yet glamorous, making it the ideal environment for a quick coffee break, light lunches, or to simply sit back, relax and unwind with a cocktail after a busy day in London.

What’s more, with our Alfresco Dining, guests can now take a seat out the front and enjoy The Hari’s Alfresco Menu. Featuring dishes perfect for sharing, The Hari Bar should be at the top of your family’s to-do list.

Looking for an outdoor space with some privacy?

The Hari’s Garden Terrace is located in the heart of The Hari, and is an elegant suntrap on warm summer days. Serving a delicious all-day dining menu and inventive cocktail list, makes the terrace ideal for afternoon aperitivos or long, lazy lunches with family and friends.

For something a little chicer and a little more substantial, head to il Pampero – a neighbourhood Italian restaurant serving authentic Italian dishes.

Guests can indulge in traditional pizzas at brunch, comforting pastas at lunch and mouth-watering desserts at dinner; catering to your every need whilst exploring the wonders of the capital.
