What's On in London? September 2025

September has arrived, marking the end of summer but certainly not the end of London’s cultural buzz.

From the dazzling London Design Festival and the city-wide Open House Festival, to the glamour of London Fashion Week and the month-long celebrations of the Totally Thames Festival, there’s no shortage of things to discover. Over at the V&A, prepare to be swept into the opulence of Marie Antoinette Style, while the Greenwich + Docklands International Festival delivers bold outdoor theatre, dance and circus to round off summer in spectacular fashion.

So, what are you waiting for? Show some love for London and the amazing places that make this city shine, by reading our What’s On guide below:

Autumn at The Hari is all about slow, sensory enjoyment: delicious food, comforting drinks, and the perfect setting to unwind as the days grow shorter and the nights get a little longer.

From the 22nd September, sip on autumn-inspired drinks that warm the soul, from spiced pumpkin lattes and classic hot toddies to fragrant mulled wine and cider. Whether you’re relaxing on the terrace with a warming drink, enjoying a leisurely lunch, or savouring a seasonal dinner in il Pampero, every moment is designed to capture the cosy elegance of the season.

The V&A's Marie Antoinette Style exhibition

Powdered wigs, silk gowns and a dash of scandal – the V&A South Kensington is set to dazzle with Marie Antoinette Style, opening 20 September 2025.

Celebrating the enduring influence of the world’s most fashionable (and infamous) queen, the exhibition brings together over 250 years of design, fashion, film and art, tracing how Marie Antoinette’s image of luxury, youth and extravagance continues to captivate.

Tickets from £23, book now to step into her world of style and splendour.

NEGRONI WEEK

From 22nd–28th September, raise a glass at The Hari Bar & Terrace with an exclusive Negroni menu crafted in partnership with Campari and Edinburgh Gin.

Each cocktail is built on Edinburgh Gin Classic and reimagines Italy’s most elegant aperitivo through a lens of creativity and sustainability. By reclaiming ingredients often overlooked; from tomato leaves to artichoke stalks and mushroom trimmings, our bartenders celebrate flavour while reducing waste. Alongside our barrel-aged Negroni and a non-alcoholic Chinotto twist, discover bold new interpretations that are as conscious as they are delicious.
