Arts Afternoon Tea in Belgravia Inspired by the world of art...

We are thrilled to unviel our new Arts Afternoon Tea, a refined experience where the worlds of fine art and fine dining come together in the heart of Belgravia, London.

Inspired by our acclaimed Cocktail Gallery, where each signature cocktail pays homage to a defining modern art movement, the new afternoon tea transforms artistic inspiration into a collection of beautifully crafted desserts. This distinct British classic is reimagined with a playful twist: the pastries become edible works of art, representing artistic styles.

Served daily from 12pm to 4pm in the elegant surroundings of il Pampero, our in-house restaurant the Arts Afternoon Tea is priced at £45 per person, with the option to elevate the experience to £55 per person, including a glass of English sparkling wine from Chapel Down.

Sweet Creations Edible works of art

Each pastry tells a story of a different movement, through their colour, form, flavours and textures.

Surrealist

The Chocolate & Caramel Opera Slice layers rich textures and unexpected flavours, blurring the boundaries between imagination and reality, much like the dreamlike works that defined the movement.

The Cocktail
Two Drifters Overproof Spiced Pineapple Rum, Drop Works White Rum infused with surplus breakfast croissants, banana, vanilla, almond syrup, lime, coconut milk.

Minimalist

This movement is embodied by the Gianduja & Cream Craquelin. Elegant in its simplicity, the perfectly formed circular choux demonstrate how restraint and precision can create something truly exceptional.

Choux craquelin filled with gianduja cream, topped with coffee chocolate beans.

The Cocktail
Sapling Climate Positive Organic vodka, Café Solo Cold Brew coffee liqueur, Licor 43 Horchata and almond foam, fresh coffee.

Cubist

The Blueberry Bar takes inspiration from Cubism, with its bold geometric form and striking block of blueberry mousse reflecting the movement’s fragmented perspectives and abstract compositions.

Blueberry mousse, fresh blueberries & almond dacquoise.

The Cocktail
Brockman’s Intensely Smooth Gin, Amaretto Disaronno, fig, lemon, home-made blueberry syrup, blackberries, Miraculous Foamer.

Pop-Art

Pop-Art comes to life through the Vanilla & Green Apple Tart, whose vibrant green tones echo the movement’s celebration of colour.

Woven into the hotel’s being Art, everywhere

Art has always been at the heart of The Hari.

The annual Hari Art Prize offers finalists a generous cash prize, with first place taking £10.000, generously donated by our CEO and Chairman Dr. Aron Harilela. This much-loved initiative has grown to inspire the Mini-Maestro Art Prize, encouraging younger artists to explore the world of artistic expression.

Beyond the prizes, the hotel’s walls are adorned year-round with rolls gallery exhibitions curated by A Space For Art, celebrating the diverse and dynamic artistic talent drawn to London from around the world, transforming The Hari into a living gallery of global creativity.

Building on this artistic legacy, the natural next step was to reimagine this pillar into an edible experience. The Arts Afternoon Tea invites guests to experience creativity beyond the gallery walls, offering an immersive celebration of art, craftsmanship and flavour in every bite.
