Covent Garden Ice Cream Festival


From 20th August, Covent Garden’s much loved annual ice cream festival The Covent Garden Cool Down will return to the pedestrianised heart of London; turning the Piazza, Market Building and surrounding streets into London’s coolest place to spend the August Bank Holiday weekend

With over 40 varieties of ice cream, sundaes, sorbets, frozen drinks, gelato and more, it’s too difficult to say no (especially in this year’s heat wave!).

Vivaldi's Four Seasons by Candlelight


Searching for romantic and unforgettable evening?

The exceptional musicians of the Piccadilly Sinfonietta perform Vivaldi’s masterpiece, The Four Seasons, by candlelight in the beautiful setting of St Mary Le Strand, London from the 5 August 2023.

The programme will also include Mozart’s exquisite Divertimento in B flat major. A hugely appealing programme designed to help you celebrate the weekend in style.

The Greenhouse


The Greenhouse is the UK’s first Zero-Waste Theatre, and moves around London to show audiences how easy it can be to live, work and socialise in a sustainable way, and will also allow audiences the chance to connect to the natural world around them this summer.

The Greenhouses final location for summer 2023 will be Battersea Power Station, showcasing an exciting programme of shows, events, workshops, and their brand new, zero-waste bar from Monday 7th August.

Two Temple Place Family Day


On Friday 18 August, head to Two Temple Place for a family day out!

Guests can follow the Green Man and Little Red Hood along an interactive family trail, exploring the historic building and the stories hidden within its walls along the way. Feel free to take lots of yummy snacks too, as there’s a picnic area to enjoy a well-deserved break under the summer sun. You can choose between one of the following trails:

  • The Green Man: Bring a smartphone and follow the interactive trail using a QR Code as The Green Man and his friends tell you stories throughout the building.
  • Little Red Riding Hood: Follow Little Red Riding Hood and her paper trail, as you engage in fun-filled activities, such as colouring and drawing games along the way.

Step Inside Abbey Road Studios


One for The Beatles fans! Don’t miss your chance to Step Inside Abbey Road Studios this Summer.

For just two weekends in August (4 – 6 and 11 – 13), they are opening the doors to let you step inside Studio Two for a series of exclusive talks exploring the past, present and future of the world’s most famous recording studio.

Led by ‘Recording The Beatles’ authors Kevin Ryan and Brian Kehew, the lectures will tell the story of Abbey Road Studios by exploring the iconic rooms, the legendary equipment, the talented engineers and the renowned artists who have defined music history and popular culture for over 90 years. It is truly a once in a lifetime experience!

BucketRace Summer Scavenger Hunt


Get creative this summer with (your not so ordinary) scavenger hunt!

Teams will complete a range of tasks across the center of London, and explore the hidden gems our city has to offer, while competing in seasonal challenges. These include a crab walk across a zebra crossing, wearing an oversized sun hat, eating a berry with a straw, and riding a pool inflatable!

From 5 – 23 August, head down to the Roundhouse – an institution of live music and performance, as they partner up with an award-winning live comedy production, Berk’s Nest, to catch performances by top comedy talent.

Headline stars include Katherine Ryan, Dylan Moran, Nish Kumar and James Acaster with his latest live tour Hecklers Welcome!

Plus The Roundhouse is an attraction on it’s own. The iconic Grade II* listed building in Camden has seen the likes of  Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Motörhead, James Brown, and Jay-Z to name a few!
