Due to popular demand, The Ice Cream Project has returned to Anya Hindmarch’s Village Hall on Pont Street!

Serving a line up of unexpectedly delicious ice creams and sorbets. The brand new flavours – with a few return cameos – celebrate Anya Hindmarch’s favourite cult food brands.

With sleek silver freezers packed full of ice cream pots, the Ice Cream Project will once against be a minimalist temple to the joy of ice cream and sorbet, with a twist – the household names inspiring our ice creams are typically found in the pantry rather than the freezer, think savoury sauces, condiments, biscuits, breakfast cereals and even crumpets…

Summer of Sport in Eccleston Yards

Wimbledon and The Ashes are back!

Watch the best of the live sporting action for free on the huge open-air screens in the leafy Eccleston Yards, moments from our hotel doors. Guests can pull up a comfy beanbag, deck chair or picnic bench, while feasting on food and drink from Eccleston Yards’ restaurants, bars and cafes in the summer sun.

From 3 – 16 July, you can catch all the live tennis action from the Wimbledon Tennis Championships, and from the 19 – 31 July the England vs Australia Ashes Test!

Theatre in the Garden

The Actors’ Church has announced Theatre in the Garden, a dedicated season filled with Shakespearean comedy, puppetry, and new takes on classic tales, from Romeo and Juliet to Peter Pan.

Running from 1 – 22 July The Actors’ Church will present live performance, family activities and even a pop-up bar, all in the heart of London’s beautiful Covent Garden. So gather your friends and family, pack a picnic, and be entertained all season long as you enjoy the very best of outdoor theatre.

Celebrate 20 years of Somerset House Summer Series and experience eleven nights of gigs from inspiring artists!

Each night between 6 – 16 July, the courtyard at Somerset House will be transformed into a spectacular space for open-air concerts, bringing a vibrant festival atmosphere straight to the heart of London.

Household Division's Military Musical Spectacular

Witness a military showcase, bursting with sound and colour as the massed bands of the Household Division alongside The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery make a welcome return to Horse Guards Parade on the 4th, 5th and 6th of July.

This year, the parade celebrates The Coronation of His Majesty, King Charles III, commemorates the iconic music of Sir William Walton whilst also recognising the military’s commitment to the health and wellbeing of soldiers. From the work of Florence Nightingale through to the present day, this epic production, using innovative live music and modern technology, will celebrate British military music and pageantry in the most stunning and iconic of backdrops, Horse Guards Parade.

A showcase of precision drill, fireworks and world class military horsemanship wrapped around the traditional Beating Retreat and Sunset ceremony.

The Royal Society’s annual Summer Science Exhibition

The Royal Society’s annual Summer Science exhibition is back from 4 – 9 July, offering a free interactive experience for anyone curious about the latest advances in science and technology!

Visitors can expect hand-on activities such: as drumming to improve their brain plasticity, predicting the next eruption of a quiet volcano, operating on the human eye using micro-surgical robotics in virtual reality, or exploring how Raman spectroscopy can detect both bone diseases and life on Mars.

With plenty of interactive activities, this exhibition is the perfect day out for all ages.

The world’s greatest classical music festival, The BBC Proms are back!

The Royal Albert Hall will host a season of exceptional classical concerts from world-renowned artists for eight long weeks.

This year’s celebration will take place in the iconic auditorium and will run from Friday 14 July – Saturday 9 September 2023, featuring a huge breadth of programming, from Berlioz to Bollywood, large scale symphonic and choral work, to intimate chamber concerts and exciting Proms debuts.

Secret Garden Party

Make a difference this summer by attending The Passage’s fundraising event, the Secret Garden Party on Thursday 20th July. 

Taking place in the beautiful surroundings of the historic College Garden at Westminster Abbey, this event is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy delicious food, unlimited beer, wine and pimms, live music, silent auction and much more, all whilst supporting the work of The Passage.

The Passage helps provide essential support for those who have experienced homelessness, and preventative action to support those at risk of becoming homeless.
