What's On in London March 2025


March has arrived, and with it brings brighter and sunnier days, as well as a lot of wonderful things to celebrate and explore.

From celebrating Mother’s Day and International Women’s Day, to exploring the first ever Latin American exhibition in The National Gallery, there is plenty to do in the capital this month.

MOTHER'S DAY THE HARI


 Celebrate the very special someone in your life this Mother’s Day by spoiling her with a stay at The Hari. Check-in to one of our luxurious rooms or suites before heading to nearby Hyde Park where you can enjoy all of the wonderful scenery the green space has to offer. Afterwards, head back to The Hari and soak up the love at our Mother’s Day Champagne Afternoon Tea, brimming with delicious Italian delicacies.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY AT ROYAL ALBERT HALL


Taking place on the 8th March, join in on the celebrations across London for International Women’s Day, which aims to forge gender equality for all. One event in particular, International Women’s Day at The Royal Albert Hall, will be hosting performances from the likes of Annie Lennox, plus many more special guests who will all be uniting to celebrate womanhood.

JOSÉ VELASCO EXHIBITION


Taking place at the renowned National Gallery just off of Trafalguar Square, Mexican artist José María Velasco will make his debut exhibition with ‘A View of Mexico’. Marked as the first exhibition to ever be dedicated to a Latin American artist and to also mark the 200th anniversary of  diplomatic relations between Mexico and the UK, Velasco’s collection of paintings highlight the beautiful landscapes of the Valley of Mexico.

PANCAKE DAY AT IL PAMPERO


For those of us with a sweet tooth… One of the most exciting days of the year, Pancake Day is officially back this month, and our Italian restaurant il Pampero is serving up hearty stacks to lucky guests during breakfast. Dine in on the 4th March and enjoy the sweet treat, brimming with maple syrup and blueberries. For those of us who want to fully indulge, why not add crispy streaky bacon to your American stack. Enjoy!

 

FRAGRANCE TAPAS


In collaboration with one of The Hari’s preferred partners, who we also use for our sustainable yet luxurious in-room guest amenities, Jo Loves are offering guests the opportunity to sample their Fragrance Tapas. Located at their shop on beautiful Elizabeth Street, experts at the Fragrance Brasserie Bar will create personal plates of scented tapas for lucky guests, which will then be gently applied to the skin, perfectly delighting the senses.

TUTANKHAMUN EXHIBITION


Award-winning exploration of Ancient Egypt, Tutankhamun: The Immersive Exhibition is coming to London on the 28th March, and is guaranteed to keep the whole family entertained. Expect to see  original ancient Egyptian artefacts from Cairo, a 360 degrees VR experience woth a digital walk-through of the Valley of the Kings, plus a hologram room showcasing the  full mummification process of Pharaoh Tutankhamun.

Air Anya Travel Shop


Conveniently located just around the corner from The Hari on beautiful Pont Street, British Luxury brand, Anya Hindmarch has opened their newest concept store, Air Anya Travel Shop. Inspired by the glamour of air travel, the new concept store will transport customers to the 1970’s, with all of the amazing details that came with air travel at that time, such as the retro seating and beautiful luggage.

Evolution of Swimwear Exhibition


From the 28th March, The Design Museum will be showcasing a brand new exhibition: Splash! A Century of Swimming and Style. This exhibition will explore the evolution of swimwear over the last century, spanning from the traditional swimwear of the 1920’s all the way up to the modern day. Keep an eye out for some rather special pieces, such as one of the earliest examples of a bikini and much, much more.
