What are the Highlights of Affordable Art Fair HK?
The charm of Affordable Art Fair HK lies in its incredible inclusivity. Whether you are a veteran collector, a beginner, or visiting as a family, there is something for everyone. This year’s key highlights and zones include:
A Blend of International and Local Galleries
This year, the fair brings together 106 top-tier galleries from Australia, Belgium, France, Italy, Japan, Korea, the UK, the USA, and Hong Kong. You can admire avant-garde contemporary art from the West alongside unique pieces rooted in Asian cultural heritage.
A major highlight is the “Brit-ish” special exhibition area, presented in collaboration with the British Consulate-General Hong Kong. Curated by Hugo Barclay, Director of Affordable Art Fair UK, this zone features 15 emerging and established British artists exploring themes of “belonging” through painting, photography, sculpture, and printmaking.
New Photography Feature – “Pieces of Hong Kong”
This year introduces a special photography exhibition titled “Pieces of Hong Kong,” offering a fresh perspective on the city. Through the lenses of six photographers, the exhibition captures Hong Kong’s unique urban pulse and human landscapes—from classic neon-lit streets to daily life hidden in alleys.
Discover Rising Stars – “Young Talent Hong Kong”
The fair has always been committed to supporting emerging talent. The “Young Talent” zone showcases breakthrough works by young local artists. Their pieces are vibrant, creative, and often priced more accessibly—making this the perfect place to discover the next “big thing” in the art market.

Immersive Art – Large Installations and Live Creation
Beyond the walls, eye-catching large-scale installations provide the perfect “Instagrammable” moments. A highly anticipated highlight is the “Together” art project by well-known local artist Stephy Tang, featuring 10 to 12 works with all proceeds donated to the Hong Kong Cancer Fund.
Visitors can also witness art in the making during “Artist in Action” sessions or visit the “Creative Hub” to participate in interactive workshops with artists like Erin Hung.
Family Fun – Art Workshops and Tours
Weekend sessions feature family-friendly interactive installations and DIY workshops. These activities allow children to engage with art in a fun environment, cultivating creative thinking and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
